A high-stakes curatorial cold case! When the clock starts, your team will have 90 minutes to crack the clues and hunt down the hidden secrets in one of London's museums.
With a live leaderboard, cryptic clues, surprise challenges and a roaming curator you'll have to think quickly to defeat teams of rival adventurers.
Think on Your Feet
Discover the secrets of the museum: Crack cryptic clues, explore hidden corners and spot tiny details. React quickly when new clues open up or old ones close. And work together - you'll need sharp minds and sharp eyes for this one.
Outwit Your Opponents
You'll have competition from up to twenty other teams of Raiders at the same time. There are bonus points for the first team to crack each clue - and, more importantly, not everybody gets every clue at the same time. Keep an eye out. Follow each other. Lay false trails. Stay alert. With a live leaderboard on your phone, you'll know exactly who to watch out for.
Think Fast, Move Slow
Raiders of the Lost Archive is based on our hit Citydash game - but this time there'll be nobody chasing you (and no running in the museum!). We'll keep the pressure up with twists & turns, surprise clues and timed challenges, but you won't need your running shoes for this one - and you'll be inside throughout.
The Story So Far
The legend of the Lost Archive of Delilah Athelby is a mystery that has foxed adventurers and curators for generations. A mysterious cabinet filled with a great treasure was hidden upon her death and legend holds that the key to finding the cabinet is hidden in a series of puzzles within her collection. These items are now on display at the Victoria & Albert museum. With access to those, you might be able to solve this once and for all - unless another team cracks it first.
Honour and Glory
You'll have the chance to join the ranks of the Wingback Society, Lady and Gentleman Explorers who are known for their curiousity, courtesy, and conviviality. The Society will be observing; impress us not only with your wits, but with your conduct, and you'll be celebrated as one of our most esteemed explorers.
Let's Do This!
Play solo, in a pair, or in a team of up to five:
The V&A itself is fully accessible, but the briefing and debriefing normally take place in a nearby pub's downstairs room, which unfortunately is not. We'd love to have you come along and we'll do everything we can - all the gameplay will be fine, but you might miss some of the theatrical bits (or we can recap them for your team, on the ground floor). Just drop us an email in advance and we'll get it sorted.
Kids are very welcome (and get Concession pricing)! There'll need to be at least one over-18 in each team.
Raiders takes place in the Victoria & Albert Museum; they're very happy to have us, but ask us to remind you that it's not an official V&A event. Although those are excellent too.
